 About Us

ABOUT US

2010 Rotherham is an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO) and has been set up to manage, maintain and improve Council homes and Rotherham Borough estates. The organisation is non-profit making and it is wholly owned and controlled by Rotherham Borough Council.

Our services range from rents and repairs to keeping estates clean and tidy and tackling anti-social behaviour.

We have the responsibility of managing, repairing and improving the 21,000 council houses in Rotherham and aim to create cleaner, greener and more attractive neighbourhoods for our customers. We have £300 million to invest up until 2010 and are working closely within local communities and giving people the chance to be involved in shaping the future of the environment in which they live.

Our Promise To You

Our aim is to make our service to you as good as it can be, so we will:

  • Treat you with respect
  • Treat you fairly
  • Deal with your enquiries and complaints thoroughly, quickly and honestly
  • Listen carefully and make a note of the issues you raise
  • Be sensitive, discreet and respect your privacy
  • Give you clear and relevant information
  • Make our buildings and services easy to find and use
  • Make sure that services meet your needs by listening to what you say
  • Improve our services by involving you and staff in setting and monitoring standards
  • Give staff the skills, training and support they need to put you first.

ABOUT THE 2010 BOARD

Good governance leads to good management, good performance, good stewardship of public monies, good public engagement and ultimately, good outcomes.

The 2010 Rotherham Ltd Board is therefore responsible for making sure customers receive a high quality service and value for money.

2010 Rotherham Board meetings are open to members of the public and 2010 Rotherham publishes its papers to Board each month (except those papers to be considered in private).

We also publish an outline programme forward plan of subjects to be discussed at each Board meeting so that customers may submit any relevant questions to Board.
