Service Standards

Service Standards are our promise that we will provide a minimum level of service for all
our customers.

These standards have been developed by working closely with customers to understand what is important to them.

They set out:

  • What kind of service you can expect
  • Our commitment to you
  • Putting things right and how to get more help and information

Local Service Standards

2010 Rotherham has been working closely with customers, Rother Fed, Rotherham Borough Council and other key partners to develop a series of local service standards which reflect the priorities of all our communities.

This year, for the first time, the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) introduced a requirement for all landlords and housing management agencies to adopt a national framework of six standards, and to develop local standards against these national headings (although the sixth standard does not apply to ALMOs).

In total, our customers have developed 58 new standards underneath these headings.

The new service standards can be found in our Annual Report (2009-10).

Over the coming months, we will be collating results of our performance in relation to the new Local Service Standards.

In the meantime, you can see how we have been performing against some of the previous standards below.
