2010 Rotherham is inviting customers to attend its next Borough Wide Forum meeting to get a slice of the action when setting local standards for its services.
The Forum, which is open to all 2010 Rotherham tenants and leaseholders, will be held on Monday 7th June; Silverwood Miners Welfare Club, Doncaster Road, Dalton, Rotherham, S65 3ET. The forum will begin with refreshments at 9.15am, with the meeting starting at 9.45am, ending with a free buffet lunch from 1.30pm. The theme of the event will be ‘Setting Standards for Services’.

The meeting will be chaired by 2010 Rotherham’s Interim Chief Executive Graham Eades, and customers will have the chance to voice their opinions and put questions to him directly.

On the agenda will be the newly-formed Tenant Services Authority (TSA) - the Government agency established to set the standards for social housing. Rotherfed’s Development Manager Steve Ruffle will lead interactive workshops as part of Rotherham’s ‘Local Conversation’. Workshops will cover topics such as: Customer service and choice; Anti-social behaviour; Complaints; Value for Money.

There will also be the opportunity to discuss 2010 Rotherham’s improvement plan and be updated on the externalisation process of the Repairs and Maintenance arm called the In-House Service Provider.

All council tenants and leaseholders are welcome to attend the Borough Wide Forum, and 2010 Rotherham would like to hear the views of as many customers as possible, particularly new tenants or those who have not previously attended meetings.
