An independent assessment of 2010 Rotherham’s environmental performance was recently carried out by Groundwork Environmental Business Services to identify which aspects of our business have the greatest impact on the environment.

These were identified as:

• Fuel consumption by transportation
• Waste generated from our business operations
• The procurement of goods and services for our customers
• Energy consumption used by 2010 Rotherham premises and staff
• Resource consumption by workforce and subcontractors

The new Environmental Policy will enable 2010 Rotherham to reduce its environmental impact in these areas by looking at what changes and improvements can be made.
