Interim Chief Executive Officer of 2010 Rotherham Graham Eades and Rotherham Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods Councillor Jahangir Akhtar will both be speaking at an open delegates meeting of the Rotherham Federation of Tenants and Residents (RotherFed) on Tuesday, 29th June, 2010 at Springwell Gardens Community Centre.
Various resolutions will be discussed and debated at the meeting, which begins at 6pm. There will be discussions on how to increase community involvement and a proposal to widen RotherFed membership to tenant clubs. The importance of building more social housing will be discussed as well as proposals to support fairtrade and a pilot shopmobility scheme in Rotherham.
Doors will open at 5.30pm where there will be a number of stalls to browse and a buffet will be available. Represented on stalls are Safer Neighbourhood Teams, Rotherham Wardens, LINK Rotherham, South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau, Safe@Last, Rural Action Yorkshire, Pixie Works and 2010 Rotherham.
