The South Yorkshire Tenants and Residents Network is organising a full day training event at the Barnsley Tenants’ Federation offices on Council Housing Finance on Tuesday 11th May 2010 on changes to housing finance.
With proposals for major changes to the ways council housing services are funded and the election of a new government, this session will be an important opportunity to find out more on self-financing for local authorities and the ways ahead.
Tenants and residents from Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield will be at this event.
RotherFed* is organising a minibus to Cudworth where the training will be held leaving Springwell Gardens Community Centre, Eastwood View, Rotherham, S65 1NG, at 9.45am and returning back to Eastwood in Rotherham at 4pm on Tuesday 11th May 2010.
The training session will include a free lunch.
