The Decent Homes scheme is a major Government initiative committed to bringing every Council home up to a Decent standard by December 2010.
2010 Rotherham has been working with its partners to update parts of your home, and many other homes in your area. To date, around 16,000 homes have been brought up to a Decent Homes standard.
We are now in the final year of the scheme, with all homes within the programme on target to be completed by the end of December 2010.
But that is not the end...2010 Rotherham and its partners is committed to ensuring that your home is kept to a Decent standard - and that includes on-going work planned for your home.
So, whether you are waiting to have work done in the future, you are in the middle of your refurbishment, or you have questions now your contractor has left, this is your guide to the work we’ll be doing.
We’re committed to providing a professional stress-free service and good workmanship, and with your help we look forward to completing a job that everyone will be pleased with.
Your assistance during the work will be greatly appreciated and you’ll find lots of information here on what you can do to help things run smoothly, the best ways to protect your home when the work is taking place, useful safety tips, and how to take care of your new refurbishment and equipment after we have left.
