2010 Rotherham has a five year planned maintenance programme to make sure all Council homes are wind and water tight and structurally sound. There has been a move away from responsive repairs to a programme where similar repairs are carried out to a number of properties in the same street at the same time.
It makes sense if a number of properties on the same street all require similar work, we do them at the same time. This provides Council rent and rate payers a more efficient and a better value for money service from 2010 Rotherham.
